IS ISA REALLY JESUS?

By Ahmed Simon.

The Quran claims all its words are from Allah, the Muslim God, in sura 2:97 & 39:23.

The Quran also mentions Isa in various sura (verses). But who is this Isa, really? The Muslims claim Isa or Isa Al Maseh, is the same Christian, Jesus Christ. The Muslims also claim everything in the Bible is in the Quran. But the Quran {114 chapters} being a relatively small book in comparison with the Bible {1,189 chapters} makes it very hard, even for a person with little intelligence to accept {It is like claiming a pail of water is in a cup}. So we cannot take the words of the Muslims as Gospel truth. The Muslims are notorious for having made various claims, which turned out to be just ‘hot-air’ or plain down-right lies. The Muslims have also not given any factual evidence of Isa, to justify their claims. But what does the Quran actually say?

Islam is the only religion in this world, which claims that there were Muslims, from more than 20,000 years ago, in the prehistoric period {The age of innocence}, even before Islam was born. This is as ridiculous as saying there were Christians before Christ, or Buddhists before Buddha or Bahai’s before Baha’Allah. Can you be a Muslim before the Quran, Hadiths, Sunna and Muhammad was born? If yes, then what is the need of the Quran, Muhammad, Hadiths and Sunna? Is Allah/Muslims, then saying that the Quran, Muhammad, Hadiths and Sunna are trivial and not important to Muslims, because one could be a Muslim without them? Did the Muslims before Muhammad {7th century}, declare that ‘Muhammad is the prophet of Islam’ as Muslims do today? Thus, the illogical and ridiculous claims by this Allah/Quran have no limits. Doesn’t this Islamic theory, make Islam, for those who cannot think rationally?

Speak to, not only Christians, but also non-Christians, who are generally cynical of this Muslim claim of Isa being Jesus Christ. A non-Christian asked, “How can any Jew work with a Muslim or even a Muslim God, when they already have their own religion and God {Jehovah}?” A Buddhist told me “The Muslims have no shame making claims on other religions {Judaism and Christianity}.” A Zoroastrian asked me, “Why didn’t the Arabs have their own prophets, instead of highjacking Jewish prophets, for Islam.”

A Taoist told me, “Allah/Muhammad/Muslims hate Jews and Muhammad/Muslims even killed Jews, so isn’t it shameful for Muslims to take advantage of Jews for their Islam, especially when Jews gave up their lives, totally rejecting Allah and Muhammad as fakes? Why is Allah/Muhammad/Muslims trying to steal the prophets of Judaism for Islam?” A Hindu told me, “They stole Hindu temples and Hindu structures from the Middle East to India to Indonesia, for Islam. And I believe they stole Christian churches as well. Have they no shame?” A Bahai told me, “Read Jewish websites, and see them condemn with their disgust, Allah and Muhammad, and Islam want Jews as their prophets? If a Jew is connected in any way to Islam, I am sure all Jews will ostracize and reject him as a traitor of all Jews and Israel.”

Therefore, if Jews reject Islam, can Isa have anything, even remotely connected, to Jews? Why such widespread skepticism and disbelief of this Isa claim, even among the non-Christians? It seems to me, even those non-Christians, have a general perception of Jesus Christ and of Islam, and thus, cannot accept any connection to Islam.

{Note: I must draw attention to the word ‘Allah’ in this article, as it has nothing whatsoever to do with the Hindu Deity, Moon Goddess Durga -Allah}, {who is the spiritual wife of the Moon God, Lord Siva – Allat} who is reverently chanted/referred to as ‘Allah’ in Sanskrit {from 1,500 B.C.} by the Hindus, to-date. Saudi Arabia was part of the Hindu Empire of the Vikrama Era of the Maharaja/s Candragupta/s. The Hindu Arabs were so devoted to Allah {Goddess Durga} that they kept praying faithfully in their Hindu temples, even after the Hindu empire had gone. No reference, or mention in any way, reflects badly on any Hindu deity or divinity of Hinduism, in this article. Whatever reference drawn of Allah, is solely and entirely made in reference to the Islamic Allah.

The Muslim Pilgrimage, of shaving the head, circumambulating the God-House {Kaaba} 7 times, worshipping The Black Stone – {The Lingam -The symbolical penis of Hindu moon deity, Lord Siva, for fertility}, wearing white long seamless robes {Indian sari}, fasting for the pilgrimage, using the Hindu symbol of the crescent moon of Lord Siva and Goddess Durga, the weekly Holy Friday prayers, etc are not Jewish religion of Judaism or Jewish traditions, but Hindu {from 1,500 B. C. and Allah even says these are pagan traditions. See “Islamic lies & Myths}

First, what is this Quran like? – It is a very peculiar doctrine, actually. It is not even a scripture in the true sense of ‘Goodness/piety’ but could possibly be classified only as a doctrine, if at all, a religious cult.

The Quran is a book of an imperfect doctrine, fabricated over hundreds of years after the passing of their prophet Muhammad {Poisoned to death}, with errors, contradictions, irrational assumptions, historical inaccuracies and absurdities, with only 114 chapters against the Bible’s 1,189 chapters. The chapters of the Quran are not arranged in importance, continuity, holiness, biography, chronology, significance or sequence of any sort, but are arranged simply by length - the longest chapter, followed by the next longest chapter and the last chapter with just 6 lines. Thus, the first half of the Quran accounts for only 20 chapters, and the second half accounts for 94 chapters {see the inconsistency}. There is no correlation between chapters. Verses are disorderly arranged and jumbled up in unrelated subjects/topics. The majority of the prophets mentioned in the Bible are not in the Quran (simply missing). Islam shamelessly tries to associate with the Jews/Judaism/Christianity to gain some adoration and respect.

The total number of verses in a Quran can vary greatly. In other words, all Qurans are NOT exactly the same, even though, Muslims lie and claim ‘all Qurans are the same the world over’. In truth, that is why different Islamic sects have different number of Sura {contents}, from 6,241 to 6,666 verses. Islamic websites also quote different figures too – all these figures of the Quran, is according to their own Islamic sect’s Quran.

Christians will be horrified to know that there is no prophecy, no chronology, no geography, no biography of anybody (not even Muhammad), no ministry, no history, no dates/periods, no proverbs, no parables, no miracles, no psalms, no sequence of any sort in the Quran; and generally is just do’s and don’t, more or less similar to an instruction book of a vacuum cleaner, with punitive punishments, reprisals and rewards specified.

In contrast, the Bible is an encyclopedia of Morality, Wisdom, experiences, History of the universe, answers to human life, etc. The Bible is the only religious scripture in this entire world, which begins chronologically with the creation of the universe and the human race; and ends with the universe and the human race. The Bible {The Word of the Lord} guides the human race, from the beginning, through, till the end of the Universe. No other religious Scripture, anywhere in this world, can categorically state such a Complete Testimony of the universe and the human race and that too in an accurate chronological setting from the beginning to the end. And since the end has not yet come, the Bible is the only LIVING Testimony of the Universe and the Human Race, of the past, present and the future. Muslims have no idea of what they are missing.

Knowing the Quran for what it is, what are the factual evidences concerning Isa in the Quran. Does the Quran give adequate information to confirm that Isa is Jesus Christ? Are they the same? From the verses in the Quran, can we draw the character of this Isa? And then compare it with the actual Jesus Christ, as recorded in the Bible, the prophecies in the Old Testament and the “Dead Sea Scrolls”, the History of Israel, the history of Rome; and archeological evidences related to their stories {Most of these archeological evidences are published in the Net.}. {If we take the characters of Mahatma Gandhi, who propagated non-violence and Muhammad, who propagated violence; we can surely confirm that they are not the same person, even without seeing or knowing them personally, right? So the character is of utmost importance} I have extracted the verses and even those with reference to Isa from the Quran, for the benefit of the readers {I hope all are here}. So let us examine these sura and try to figure out if Isa is really the same person as Jesus Christ.

{All translations of the Quran are from Mohamed M. Pickthall’s English Quran; which is recognized by the OIC.}

No attempt is made by the author in this article, to correct the punctuation marks, syntax, wordings and grammatical errors, so commonly inherent in this Quran and is presented exactly as it is: -

[ ] & { } are the symbols for the author’s comments.

2:87 – “And Verily we gave unto Moses the scripture and we caused a train of messengers to follow after him, and we gave unto Isa, son of Mary clear proofs (of Allah’s sovereignty), and we supported him with the holy Spirit. Is it ever so, that, when there cometh unto you a messenger (from Allah) with that which ye yourself desire not, ye grow arrogant, and some ye disbelieve and some ye slay.” [Scripture to Moses?]

2:136 – “Say (O Muslims) we believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Isa received, and that which the prophets received from the Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto him we have surrendered.”

2:253 – “Of those messengers, some of whom we have caused to excel others, and of whom there are some unto whom Allah spake, while some of them he exalted (above others) in degree; and we gave Isa, son of Mary, clear proofs (of Allah’s sovereignty) and we supported him with the holy Spirit. And if Allah had so willed it, those who follow them would not have fought one with another after the clear proofs had come unto them. But they differed, some of them believing and some disbelieving. And if Allah had so willed it, they would not have fought one with another; but Allah doeth what he will.” 3:45 – “(And remember) when the angels said: O Mary! Lo! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a word from Him, whose name is the Maseh, Isa, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and the hereafter, and one of those brought near (unto Allah).” [Allah doesn’t seem to know the meaning of Maseh. Is his name Maseh?]

3:46 – “He will speak unto mankind in his cradle and in his manhood, and he is of the righteous.” [An infant speaking? And in his cradle? This must be a joke.]

3:48 – “And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah, and the Gospel.” [Allah will teach only one Gospel – What about the other three Gospels? Doesn’t Allah know the Torah, Wisdom and Gospel are all part of the Scripture?]

3:49 – “And will make him a messenger unto the children of Israel, (saying): Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it, and it is a bird, by Allah’s leave. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the dead, by Allah’s leave. And I announce unto you what ye eat and what ye store up in your houses. Lo! Herein, verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be believers.” [Messenger ONLY for the children of Israel?]

3:50 – “And (I come) confirming that which was before me of the Torah, and to make it lawful some of that which was forbidden unto you. I come unto you with a sign from your Lord, so keep your duty to Allah and obey me.” [Torah only – balance of Bible?]

3:51 – “Lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship him. That is a straight path.”

3:52 – “But when Isa became conscious of their disbelief, he cried: who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We will be Allah’s helpers. We believe in Allah. And bear thou witness that we have surrendered (unto Him).”

3:55 – “(And remember) when Allah said: O Isa! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the day of resurrection. Then unto me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ.” [Almost all Jews do not believe  Isa – So Allah failed.]

3:59 – “Lo! The likeness of Isa with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then he said unto him: Be! And he is.” [Muhammad?]

3:84 – “Say (O Muhammad): we believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which is revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and that which was vouchsafed unto Moses and Isa and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto him we have surrendered.”

4:157 – “And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah Isa son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – They slew him not nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! Those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.”

4:158 – “But Allah took him up unto himself. Allah was ever Mighty, Wise.”

4:163 – “Lo! We inspired thee as we inspired Noah and the prophets after him, as We inspired Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Tribes, and Isa and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, as we imparted unto David the Psalms;”

[As far as I know, Jehovah of Judaism, inspired Noah, Job, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his descendants. I don’t know who inspired Ishmael, but he “living as a wild donkey” {Gen. 16:12}, perhaps Allah could have indeed inspired him.]

4:164 – “And messengers We have mentioned unto thee before and messengers We have not mentioned unto thee; and Allah spake directly unto Moses.”

[Allah admits he did not mention all messengers? Yes, three quarters of the messengers of the Bible are missing in the Quran. And Muslims have the cheek to claim everything in the Bible is in the Quran]

4:171 – “O people of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Maseh, Isa son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah, and his word which he conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from him. So believe in Allah and His messenger, and say not “Three” – Cease! (it is) better for you! – Allah is only one God. Far is it removed from His transcendent Majesty that he should have a son. His is all that is in the Heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.”

4:172 – “The Maseh will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah., nor will the favoured angels. Whoso scorneth His service and is proud, all such will He assemble unto Him;”

[Why does Allah need slaves to do his dirty work? Cann’t he do it himself?]

5:17 – “They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Maseh son of Mary. Say: Who then can do aught against Allah, if he had willed to destroy the Maseh son of Mary, and His mother and everyone on earth? Allah’s is the sovereignty of the Heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He created what He will, and Allah is able to do all things.” [Allah is threatening everyone, as a terrorist {8:12}]

5:19 – “O people of the Scripture! Now hath our messenger come unto you to make things plain after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any warner. Now hath it a messenger of cheer and warner come unto you. Allah is Able to do all things.”

5:45 – “And we prescribed to them {Jews} therein: The life for the life, and the eye for the eye, and the nose for the nose, and the ear for the ear, and the tooth for the tooth and for wounds retaliation. But whoso forgoeth it (in the way of charity) it shall be expiation for him. Whoso judgeth not for that which Allah hath revealed: such are wrong-doers.” [This sura is stated here due to the relationship with sura 5:46 for clarity]

5:46 – “And We caused Isa, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming that which was (revealed) before Him, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein was guidance and a light, confirming that which was (revealed) before it in the Torah – a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil).”

[The Gospels are stories even after Jesus’ death. Does Allah know that?]

5:72 – “They surely disbelieve who say: Allah is the Maseh, son of Mary. The Maseh (himself) said: O children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Lo! Whoso ascribeth partners unto Allah, for him Allah hath forbidden paradise. His abode is the Fire. For evil-doers there will be no helpers.”

5:75 – “The Maseh, son of Mary, was no other than a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) have passed away before him. And his mother was a saintly woman. And they both used to eat (earthly) food. See how we make the revelations clear for them, and see how they are turned away!”

5:78 – “Those of the children of Israel who went astray were cursed by the tongue of David and of Isa, son of Mary. That was because they rebelled and used to transgress.”

5:110 – “When Allah saith: O Isa, son of Mary! Remember my favour unto thee and unto thy mother; how I strengthen thee with the holy Spirit, so that thou spakest unto mankind in the cradle as in maturity; and how I taught thee the Scripture and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and how thou didst shape of clay as it were the likeness of a bird by my permission, and didst blow upon it and it was a bird by my permission, and thou didst heal him who was born blind and the leper by my permission; and how thou didst raise the dead, by my permission; and how I restrained the children of Israel from (harming) thee when thou camest unto them with clear proofs, and those of them who disbelieved exclaimed: This is naught else of mere magic;” [Torah, Wisdom, Gospel are part of Scripture and Allah doesn’t know this?]

5:111 – “And when I inspired the disciples (saying): Believe in Me and my messenger, they said: we believe. Bear witness that we have surrendered (unto thee).”

5:112 – “When the disciples said: O Isa, son of Mary! Is thy Lord able to send down a table spread with food from Heaven? He said: Observe your duty to Allah, if ye are true believers.”

5:113 – “(They said) We wish to eat thereof, that we may satisfy our hearts and know that thou hast spoken truth to us, and that thereof we may be witnesses.”

5:114 – “Isa, son of Mary, said: O Allah, Lord of us! Send down for us a table spread with food from Heaven, that it may be a feast for us, for the first of us and the last of us, and a sign from thee. Give us sustenance, for thou art the best of Sustainers.”

5:115 – “Allah said: Lo! I send it down for you. And whoso disbelieveth of you afterward, him surely I will punish with a punishment wherewith I have not punished any of (My) creatures.” [Allah obeys Isa?]

5:116 – “And when Allah saith: O Isa, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? He saith: Be glorified! It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then thou knewest it. Thou knowest what is in my mind and I know not what is in thy mind. Lo! Thou, only thou art the knower of things hidden.”

5:117 – “I spake unto them only that which thou commandedst me (saying): worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. I was a witness of them, while I dwelt among them, and when thou tookest me Thou was wast the watcher over them. Thou art witness over all things.”

5:118 – “If thou punish them, lo! They are thy slaves, and if thou forgive them (lo! They are thy slaves). Lo! Thou, only thou art the mighty, the wise.”

6:86 – “And Zachariah and John and Isa and Elias. Each one was of the righteous.”

9:30 – “And the Jews say: Esra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Maseh is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!”

9:31 – “They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Maseh son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only One God. There is no god save Him. Be He glorified from all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him).

19:27 – “Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Thou hast come with an amazing thing.”

19:28 – “Oh sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot.”

19:29 – “Then she pointed to him. They said: How can we talk to one who is in the cradle, a young boy?”

19:30 – “He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a prophet.” [Jesus considered slavery as inhuman and ungodly, so this alone confirms that Isa is not Jesus]

19:31 – “And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and alms-giving so long as I remain alive.”

19:32 – “And (hath made me) dutiful toward her, who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest.”

19:33 – “Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive.”

19:34 – “Such was Isa son of Mary: (this is) a statement of the truth concerning which they doubt.”

19:35 – “It is befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto himself a son. Glory be to Him. When He decreeth a thing. He saith unto it only: Be! And It is.”

21:91 – “And she who was chaste, therefor We breathed into her (something) of Our spirit and made her and her son a token for (all) peoples.”

33:7 – “And when We exacted a covenant from the prophets, and from thee (O Muhammad) and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Isa son of Mary. We took from them a solemn covenant;”

42:13 – “He hath ordained for you that religion which He commended unto Noah, and that which We inspire in thee (Muhammad), and that which We commended unto Abraham and Moses and Isa, saying: Establish the religion, and be not divided therein. Dreadful for the idolaters is that unto which thou callest them. Allah choosest for Himself whom He will, and guideth unto Himself him who turneth (unto Him).

43:57 – “And when the son of Mary is quoted as example, Behold! The folk laugh out.”

43:63 – “When Isa came with clear proofs (of Allah’s sovereignty), he said: I have come unto you with wisdom, and to make plain some of that concerning which ye differ. So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me.”

43:64 – “Lo! Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is the right path.”

57:27 – “Then We caused our messengers to follow in their footsteps; and We caused Isa, son of Mary, to follow, and gave him the Gospel, and placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed them. But monasticism they invented – We ordained it not for them – only seeking Allah’s pleasure, and they observed it not with right observance. So We give those of them who believe their reward, but many of them are evil-livers.” [Allah gave Isa the Gospel, when he was alive?]

61:6 – “And when Isa son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bring good tidings of a messenger who cometh after me, whose name is the Praised One. Yet when he hath come unto them with clear proofs, they say: This is mere magic.”

61:14 – “O ye who believe! Be Allah’s helpers, even as Isa son of Mary said unto the disciples: Who are my helpers for Allah? They said: We are Allah’s helpers. And a party of the Children of Israel believed, while a party disbelieved. Then We strengthened those who believed against their foe, and they became the uppermost.”

Muslims generally know of Isa only in reference to their Quran. Assuming for argument’s sake, that Isa is Jesus Christ, then, does the Quran give a biography of Isa to compare the similarities? Does it elaborate on his character, which is very important to confirm the person? Did the Quran state any supernatural phenomena involving Isa? Does the Quran give the life events of Isa? Is there any history of Isa in the Quran? Does it inform about his pre-teenage years and his age at various stages of his life? Does the Quran inform what Isa did in his life on earth? Does the Quran describe the physical person, named Isa? What are the relations associated with Isa, as per the Quran? Did the Quran inform the prophecies of Isa, as in the Old Testament? Did the Quran give the geography and significance of the various places of Isa’s movements? Does the Quran give the various significances in his life? What importance is given to Isa for his achievements and what were they? Did the Quran say if Isa was a Jew, Arab, etc? Does the Quran say who were the people witnessing Isa’s deeds? Does the Quran, at least, mention the town where Isa was born. Does the Quran state the number and names of disciples Isa had? Does the Quran give any indication of Isa being mentioned in the history of the Israel, Rome, Greece, etc? Finally, what does the Quran say about his guidance, teachings and testaments?

The answer to all these questions is in the negative {NO}.

Is this all, Allah can say about Isa? There is not a shred of evidence that Isa is Jesus.

There is no life story of Isa, as the story of Jesus in the Bible. Just a few references of Isa, in relation to Allah, is all we see in the Quran. There is hardly anything worthwhile, in the Quran. In substance, there is no story, teaching, guidance, wisdom, parables, message, etc. of Isa.

Did you notice the pattern of the sura, yes, it is not arranged or set chronologically – Typical of all sura in the Quran – just jumbled up.

[Allah obviously does not know the CONCEPT of the Scripture {Bible}. The creators of the Quran, thought it was just a bunch of revelations {Instructions} given to them {Just like in the Quran}, and not their life history and of various periods and time zones. This is a fundamental flaw/error of the creators of the Quran. They have got the fundamental concept completely wrong, in relation to the Bible. As I said earlier, ‘the Quran is like an instruction book of a vacuum cleaner…’ Having got the concept wrong, the Quran is a ridiculous and silly book, in comparison to the Bible.]

You would have noticed that the words ‘the Maseh’ mentioned in certain sura. In Arabic this means, ‘The Messiah’ {Al Maseh}.  So obviously, Allah is referring to a Messiah. In Hebrew, it is spelt as ‘Mashiah’. It means the ‘Anointed One’ {or Christ} – It is more than just a prophet. None of the prophets were ever given such a high recognition. Descriptions of his importance are many in the Bible. Various prophesies told, over a 1,000 years, of the coming of the Messiah, and has been recorded, but, missing in the Quran. The Messiah was also mentioned thirty nine times in the Old Testament alone, before his coming. This shows the importance of the Messiah, as the world was waiting of a Messiah, for a 1,000 years.

But we have a big problem with Allah’s words in the Quran. 1. Allah mentioned in  a number of sura as Isa the Maseh, confirming this Isa as a Messiah. 2. But, in sura 3:45 Allah says his name is the Maseh {Al Maseh}. If his name is ‘the Maseh’, isn’t it ridiculous? It cannot be a name, can it? Or is the Quran wrong and Allah did not make a mistake or vice versa? 3. But in sura 5:75, Allah says he is “the Maseh”, and then goes on to say that Isa is an ordinary messenger. If he is an ordinary messenger then he cannot be the Maseh, can he? Does Allah know what he is talking about? Which is which – Is Isa an ordinary prophet or the Maseh? Then why did Allah confirm him to be a Maseh, distinguishing him from the other prophets? It has to be either, or. It cannot be both, can it?

[You, probably, would have also noticed numerous errors and absurdities in the sura above; but let us leave it aside for now and concentrate on the question of determining the Muslim claim of Isa being Jesus Christ.]

What I cannot imagine is the extend of Mecca/Medina’s isolation from the rest of the world. But first, you must remember that the Quran was never compiled during the life-time of Muhammad and his companions {mercenaries}, but was compiled and recompiled and re-recompiled and revised and re-revised well after Muhammad, {at least, 200 years after}. But, the Apostles of Jesus Christ, did travel to Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Crete, Sicily, Rome, India, etc, spreading the Gospel of Jesus and his miracles of healing the sick, leper, raising the dead, etc. and his mother being Mariam/Mary. These were well-known even before Muhammad’s life-time, all over the Arab world. There is even mention of Jesus Christ in Chinese manuscripts. The Apostle, St. Thomas, went to Kerala, India, and who died in 53 A.D.  in Madras, India, where his burial took place on St. Thomas Mount, and where San Thome Cathedral stands today. The major religion of the state of Kerala is Christianity. It is to St. Thomas that Jesus said, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life.” St. Thomas, was the first person to touch the wounds of the risen Jesus Christ {from the dead}, and only after that, St.Thomas said, “My Lord and my God.” So you see the world knew about Jesus even in the first century. So mentioning some well-known points, does not say Isa is Jesus. These were all common knowledge. Allah could come up only with so little in the Quran, when much more was available. It shows how ignorant the fabricators of the Quran were. What is important is if the Quran gives adequate information, more than what was already commonly known, and Allah failed miserably.

Practically, anyone can give more information than these sura has given. So practically, nothing was given, which Arabs even before Muhammad, did not already know. The problem with Saudi Arabia is that it was not attractive historically to foreigners, because of its lack of wealth, progress and initiative among its people, the Arabs. Thus, foreign powers historically, just by-passed Saudi Arabia; especially, the Medina/Mecca areas. The Mongols, under Genghis Khan, just simply by-passed Saudi Arabia completely and went further west into Europe. So were many other foreign armies, who did not think it worthwhile to go to Saudi Arabia. This unimportance placed on the Medina/Mecca areas is a disadvantage. Because these areas got more or less isolated from the rest of the world, and were left in the backwaters for centuries. So very little knowledge seeped into these areas. Therefore, Saudi Arabia, even today, lacks direct history. The people, for more than a 1,000 years, were ignorant of the outside world and thus, knowledge of even Israel, was only in the superficial. Very little knowledge filtered into the Medina/Mecca residents, and in any case, they were ignorant illiterates and could not understand the foreigners, especially the more industrious Christians/Jews, within Saudi Arabia. So an Arab envy, jealousy and hatred of the industrious Christians/Jews existed for generations, and this is reflected in the Quran. Muhammad and his companions were illiterates too. When Muhammad died, Saudi Arabia was depleted of what little wealth the Christians/Jews had previously created due to Muhammad’s killings/stealing. Those who escaped Muhammad, fled, leaving Saudi Arabia to rot further. Things were not peaceful even after Muhammad died either, because leaders rose in revolt, {Muhammad’s child wife, Aisha, also led an army} to capture power, and the country became further terrorized and torn apart, among tribes, for centuries.  That is the reason why practically nothing is told of Isa. It shows how isolated the fabricators of the Quran were.

[Note: Did you note the many identical sura - repeats. Many sura are repeated. I guesstimate that the Quran can be reduced in volume, without sacrificing the content {by a third – about 2,000 sura} if unnecessary repeat sura are removed.]

Although the Quran, does refer to a Maseh, its meaning is lost in the Quran. Nowhere is the word explained in the Quran of what it is or means. Therefore, Isa is put in doubt, as to who he really is. Not only is it not explained in the Quran, but, worse, as obviously, Allah does not seem even to know the meaning of Maseh. So, it is obvious, this Allah does not have an inkling of the word, ‘Maseh’ and thought it was a name.

[You would have noticed that the Quranic Language is grammatically atrocious. Even in old Arabic, the Quranic language is left wanting. This is because the poets, learned, etc were either killed for criticizing Muhammad or simply fled the country for their lives Ubaidulla, one of the most learned, famous and respected man, fled to Ethiopia and died there, ‘for condemning Muhammad as a fake’. Thus, a substandard scribe called Zayed Ibn Thabit, left behind, as he was no threat to Muhammad; did most of the compilation, recompilation, and re-recompilation of the Quran. [See the Invention of Islam]. Does Allah/Quran answer all the points necessary? The points to ask are: -

a)     Are these sura {mentioned above} informative of Isa/Jesus – the answer is No.

b)     Are these sura of the Quran, in the Bible – No.

c)     Are there any other indication given to justify the claims – No.

d)     Do these sura confirm that Isa is Jesus – No.

e)     What do these sura tell us – practically nothing worthwhile about Isa.

f)      Are these sura sensible and logical – No.

g)     Was there any witness to Isa talking in the cradle mentioned – No? So it could probably be just an old Arabic lady’s folk tale.

h)     What morality do you find in these sura – Nothing.

i)      Are these sura educating Muslims about morality – No.

j)      Are there any history of the associated people – No.

k)     Are there any places, related to Isa, mentioned – No.

l)      Are there any related geography of neighbouring places, mentioned – nothing.

m)   Is the place of birth mentioned – No.

n)     What does these sura tell about Isa’s early life – nothing.

o)     Was any important events of his childhood {after birth given} – No.

p)     Are there any mention of the ruling class and people – No?

q)     Despite mentioning 3 miracles, was the full list mentioned for a better understanding – No.

r)      Are there any parables mentioned – No.

s)     Are there any related extra ordinary natural phenomena mentioned – No.

t)      Was there any dates of events given – No.

u)     Was his age given at any time of his life – No.

v)     Except for mentioning his mother, was there anything else given of his family – No. {There could have been any number of Mary, as it was a common name in those days.}

w)   What guidance did Isa give – Nothing?

x)     What was his instructions/teachings and solutions – Nothing?

y)     Was there any prophesies about Isa in the Quran – Nothing.

z)     Does Allah/Quran say if Isa was a Jew or an Arab – No.

aa)  Does Allah/Quran say when, where, why, and how Isa received the clear proofs and what were the clear proofs – No.

bb) Did Allah/Quran say where, when and to whom Isa took the clear proofs to – No. If he received something, he must have taken it somewhere, right?

cc)  Did Allah/Quran give any similarities of Isa and Jesus – No?

dd) Allah himself confirms Isa is not Jesus Christ, when he said in sura 19:28  “Oh! Sister of Aaron” to Isa’s mother. If Isa’s mother is the sister of Aaron {Aaron is the brother of Moses} then this Isa’s mother was a different Mary/Mariam, and during the time of about 1,250 B.C. {time of Moses} and about 1,250 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. If Allah’s words are true, {as Muslims swear by it} then Isa is definitely not, and cannot be Jesus Christ. It was someone else 1,250 years before Jesus Christ. According to the bible, Moses and Aaron did have a sister named Mary. {Muslims cannot deny this in the Quran and Allah’s words, that Isa’s mother was the sister of Moses/Aaron. {See 19:28 again}

Without a positive answer to the questions above, and Allah confirming that he was referring to an Isa in the year 1,250 B.C.; this puts even Isa, the Islamic prophet, in doubt, leave alone Jesus Christ. Isa could be any number of persons in 1250 B.C.

In any case, vague indirect references, is not enough evidence to say who this Isa really is. Just claiming Isa to be Jesus, does not make it so, unless, logical evidence is proven as such, and the Quran does not. Even Isa is not described.

IN CONCLUSION: EVEN ISA IS NOT ADEQUATELY INFORMED to make any reasonable assumption. THEREFORE, there is no basis to the Muslim claim that Isa is Jesus Christ. ISA IS DEFINITELY NOT JESUS CHRIST. The road ahead for Muslims is to accept the terrible shortcomings of the Quran and stop lying, with no basis, whatsoever to the truth, and leave alone other religious to their beliefs. Islam should not try to impose their beliefs on others, which is literally, disgusting and inhuman to non-Muslims.

There are also many mistakes made by Allah, in the above quoted sura: -

  1. Allah says he gave the Scripture {Bible} to all the prophets. This cannot be, because the events in the bible {over thousands of years} did not yet unfold then and the Bible did not exist in each prophet’s time. The bible came only after the 2nd century. How can anyone give something, which did not exist? So Allah {or fabricators of the Quran} made a terrible stupid blunder here.
  2. Allah also makes a terrible mistake when he said, he gave the Gospel to Isa. The Gospel did not exist and was not penned down well after the death of Jesus Christ, about 50 years after Christ. So how could Allah give the Gospel {even if it is one Gospel as Allah said, instead of four Gospels}. The fact is, the four Gospels are the story of the ‘Good News’ of Jesus Christ until death and the risen Christ, and was penned down by the Apostles. This shows those who wrote the Quran had not a clue of what the Gospels meant. Thankfully, they couldn’t copy the Gospels, but Allah cursed Christians for hiding them.
  3. There are more mistakes and I will leave it to you readers to spot them.

[Why does Allah need to demand a covenant {33:7 – an agreement} with the prophets? Did Allah think that without an agreement, these prophets will run away or what? Why then for covenants with Allah to forcefully bind them? Doesn’t it tell you that this Allah has no power at all, so he needs an agreement, like a mortal?]

Is there any proof of any Jew facing the Kaaba to pray, as all Muslims must pretend {See article “Islamic Lies and Myths”}. Where did Adam, Eve, their children, their thousands of descendents [generations], Noah and family, the millions of descendants, Abraham, his family and his people, etc, FACE to pray, “before Abraham supposedly built the Kaaba”? Is there any archeological or any evidence of anything Islamic before the 8th century in this world – the answer is No. Islamic logic is no logic for the rationally thinking, is it?

Let me raise some important relevant points. What is puzzling to me is the position of Muhammad, as the last and most important prophet in Islam. Based on the sura above, this Allah seems to have been UNFAIR to Muhammad in comparison to Isa.  Muslims should answer the Questions below, {based on the Quranic Sura above}: -

  1. If Allah made Isa, a Maseh, why did he not make Muhammad also a Maseh, more than an ordinary prophet and anointed as such, as he is supposed to be the last and most important prophet. Why did Allah discriminate him?
  2. If Allah took Isa up unto him alive {4:158}, then why did he not similarly take Muhammad unto him alive, instead of allowing him to be poisoned to death, on earth, like a common mortal and suffering a sickly, slow painful death over 2 ½ years {probably of liver poisoning}? Why did Allah not treat Muhammad with similar reverence as Isa, instead of as an inferior prophet?
  3. {17:1} Allah could have at least given him the privilege of being buried in or near the Kaaba {Islam’s holiest shrine}, instead of sending his body to “the far distant place of worship”, {It could have been even in Medina, but Muslims claim his body was taken to Jerusalem. Why Jerusalem, where there was not a single Islamic place of worship then, and Jerusalem is not mentioned anywhere in the Quran either.} Then, Muslims could have gone to his grave to pay their respects and pray, as it is with Jesus Christ.
  4. What makes this Allah more ridiculous, is his contradictions in sura 4:171 and 5:75, when Allah himself declared that Isa is not a special messenger, but an ordinary prophet. Then why did he give these special treatment to Isa by ‘taking up alive unto him’, instead of taking the last and most important prophet of Islam. Does Allah make any logical sense to you?
  5. Then again in sura 3:49, Allah gave the powers to Isa to fashion a clay bird and breathe life into it as a Supreme Being (God). Allah went further and gave Isa the power to give sight to the blind, cure the leper of his disease and even raise the dead. Isa is the only one person, which Allah gave so much of miraculous powers. But, why didn’t Allah give Muhammad, his last and most important prophet of Islam, similar powers; not even one miraculous power - Nadai, zilch, not one, none, no powers at all. Why?
  6. In sura 4:164, Allah says he talked directly with Moses. But, instead, he gave all the sura of the Quran to an angel, and this angel carried the revelations to Muhammad. If Allah didn’t want to talk with Muhammad, he could at least say ‘Hello’ directly to Muhammad?
  7. In 3:46 & 19:29, Allah says, “Isa talked in his cradle” by Allah’s leave {power}. Why is it that the last and most important prophet of Allah, was not given that power, to talk in his cradle? Why did Allah give Isa miraculous powers, but not Muhammad? Why did Allah treat Muhammad as an inferior, and substandard prophet to Isa?
  8. Why did Allah ‘vouchsafed unto Moses and Isa’ {3:84}, but not unto Muhammad? Why?
  9. In Sura 3:45, Allah announced ‘glad tidings’ of the Birth and coming of Isa, but Allah did not make any announcement on the birth and coming of Muhammad {His most important prophet}. Doesn’t Muhammad deserve more from Allah, or at least the same treatment, if not better?
  10. Why did Allah praise Isa’s mother as saintly {5:75}, chaste {21:91} and gave favours {5:110} and Allah also praised Isa’s grandfather as not being wicked and his grandmother as not a harlot; Why was there no praise of Muhammad’s parents or grandparents?
  11. If Allah taught Isa {3:48} the scripture, himself; then why did Allah not also teach Muhammad the scripture but, instead, Allah asked Muhammad to learn from the ordinary Christians {10:95}. Why discriminate against him?
  12. In 2:136 Allah said he made no distinction among prophets and in 2:253 he contradicts himself saying, “he caused some to excel above others,” and “while some of them he exalted (above others)”. And in 3:84 he goes and contradicts again, saying he makes no distinction. Is this Allah sane? The numerous contradictions and errors are typically common in the Quran.
  13. If Allah made Isa the messenger for the Children of Israel, does that mean Muhammad is not the messenger for the Children of Israel? {3:49}.
  14. Why is “the likeness of Isa with Allah is as the likeness of Adam?”{3:59} What about Muhammad?
  15. If Isa came to confirm the Torah {3:50}; then what did Muhammad confirm?
  16. 19:31 – Why did Allah make Isa “blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and alms-giving so long as I remain alive” but not Muhammad? Why did Allah discriminate against ‘poor’ Muhammad so?
  17. Was there any supernatural phenomena on Muhammad’s death, as in the case of Jesus  – none? Couldn’t Allah show some signs of the passing of Allah’s most important prophet to the Muslims {which is normally expected of exceptionally great men}? {All the Quran says, is that his body was taken to ‘a far distant place of worship’, in an overnight journey, without any witness. Why in the darkness of the night? Isn’t it very odd? Was it so shameful for Muslims to see and morn the dead Muhammad’s body?}

I can go on and on, but these points alone should give you an idea of this absurd Allah’s behavior/mindset. Doesn’t this tell you that Allah/Quran have a twisted sense of logic? Doesn’t it also explain a similar pattern in the Muslim mindset?

Why did Allah treat Muhammad so badly in comparison to Isa? Was it because Muhammad had the blood of men, women and children {of Muslims, Christians and Jews killed}, on his hands and Isa did not? Was Allah disgusted with Muhammad for his immoral activities? Was Allah insulted when Muhammad did not obey his words, like having only a maximum of four wives, eating in the day during fasting, praying to Idols and eating the sacrificed food, etc {see Biography of Muhammad}

When I asked a Taoist “Who is Allah?” She asked back innocently and obviously unaware, “Isn’t he the leader of the terrorists?”

As a matter of fact, she happened to be correct though; because Allah himself did admit being a terrorist {sura 8:12}, the best schemer {sura 3:54} and the best plotter {sura 13:42 & 86:16}. Terrorists are terrorizing the whole world and the loss of lives {of men, women and children}, property and wanton destruction are aired and published all over the world for everyone to see and hear, removing any doubt of what Islam stands for – the cause of Allah. This is a big problem even for the Muslims, among other things, non-Muslims are afraid to employ Muslims in non-Muslim countries, as messages in this guestbook prove. So the dilemma to most ‘moderate’ and/or logically thinking Muslims, is to do the right thing, to choose between the cause of Allah, or to condemn the inhumanity propagated in the name of Allah. Most Muslims take the cowardly approach of not doing anything, so that they will not hurt the feelings of Allah and the deadly silence is echoing from corner to corner the world over. Even among those non-Christians, unaware of Islam, practically not anyone of them, believe the apologist Muslims’ energetic assertions that, “Muslims, who don’t know the true Islam are committing these atrocities,” and that, “Islam is Peaceful”. Pretending, as though the true Islam is peaceful and will not hurt even a ‘disbelieving fly’. The non-Muslim question, “Why only ‘Muslims who don’t know Islam’ are killing, maiming and creating wanton destruction the world over?” They spend years learning Islam in their Maddrassahs and mosques and they don’t know Islam? This Muslim argument doesn’t ‘hold water’ anymore, because everyone knows Islam is violent and evil. Unless Muslims have the courage to face the true facts of Islam, the Muslims will continue to be the losers the world. For example, the Muslims abducted 3 Israelis in mid July 2006, and the Israelis retaliated by attacking Lebanon to destroy Islamic terrorists from sending Katyusha rockets into Israeli cities killing civilian, men, women and children. The Islamic countries gave a big hue and cry against Israeli ‘brutality’ of ‘an unbalanced exceptional force’ {they want force to be balanced?}. But the fact remains that the Muslims always provoke and start trouble, and then cry and wail, like a crybaby, when the Israelis put them in the receiving end and whack them.

The ‘moderate’ and logical thinking Muslims are also at fault for donating and financing terror; thereby, being an accomplice to terrorism all over the world. Muslims have no excuse to say that they did not know where their money went for the cause of Allah. This is not acceptable and is a fact. Unless, Muslims face the fact that Allah is a fake, they are doomed. No God will want his creation killed and rain terror and destruction on the very world he created.

Only in Islam, the belief in effecting change to society is not in the democratic principles, but in the Quranic theory of forcing change by any violent means {even murdering the opponents}, in the cause of Allah. {See ‘Will Islamic suicide killers be rewarded’ and ‘Is Islam a fake’}. And only in Islam, Allah makes demands to attack those who believe in other religions. Islam does not leave other religions alone. Such evil is for savages and has no place in this civilised world. Why ain’t Muslims raising a ‘peaceful’ shindig against those Islamic countries/leaders who put away thousands of Muslims, without trial? Their silence is deafening. Non-Muslims attack their own, against injustice; but not Islam/Muslims. This confirms my experience that Muslims are strongly nurtured to fear the terrible vengeance of Allah. They are mostly terrorized and held in Islamic terror, day in, and day out, as a prisoner in Islam.

The cause of Allah is not the welfare or well-being of the Muslims, as non-Muslims falsely perceive, but the propagation of Islam and the creation of Islamic facilities for this propagation {like Maddrassahs, Mosques, Surau, terrorism, killing non-Muslims, etc.} The Indonesian Tsunami deaths in 2004, invoked the label, by the Indonesian Ulama Council as the “Invincible Islamic World’, where 200,000 men, women and children died and atop the terrible devastation. The earthquake victims in so many Muslim countries are still starving and dying by the day and the Muslim money, at the same time is going to terrorism, arming Islamic Jihadists in and around Israel, Sudan, Kashmir, Iraq, Philippines, Chechniya, etc, construction of Islamic facilities, etc. Doesn’t this confirm the cause of Allah, to you? Even the FBI caught some Muslim charities for terrorism and prosecuted many Muslims. Does that not tell you what is the meaning of the ‘cause of Allah’? Now, do you believe me the ‘cause of Allah’ is NOT the welfare and well-being of Muslims, {but propagation and conquering the world}

Another point is the Middle East situation. You would have heard Muslims professing the belief that if America did not help Israel, the problem will be solved. The Muslim memory is very short {like 24 hours}. In 1948 and 1956, the Israelis proved to the world, without American support, they could whack the Arabs. The fact is that Israel produces many of its own sophisticated weaponry, and the Americans have even copied/purchased some of them. For argument’s sake, in my opinion, if the situation is reversed, and the Americans support only the Islamic countries instead, the Israelis will still win. The Islamic countries have publicly stated they ‘will drive all the Jews into the sea to die’. What do you think will happen to all the holy sites then? Can we let it happen? The mindset of the Muslim thinking is reflected in the speech given by the late President Hafez Asad, when he said in 1967, “There is one hundred more wars against Israel, and all we need is one victory and Israel will be no more.” The president of Iran called on Muslims, “to wipe out Israel from the map.” The terrible loss of Muslim lives, in these wars, initiated by Muslim themselves, is not even imagined because it is just human fodder for this Allah. The fact is, Israel wants peace and signed so many peace treaties, to be left alone, but Muslims deny peace, and never kept to their side of the bargain, as perpetrated in the Quran by Allah – That is the crux of all the problems in the Middle East. The Muslims initiated and lost each time with devastating results, exactly as the Bible prophesied. It is actually a shame for Islam, in any measure, which proves Allah shamefully lost all the time. The Islamic countries {in comparison to Israel} have so much more land, revenue, population, etc and yet are straddled by Allah’s cause to build more Islamic structures, etc and spend so much money for unproductive terrorism, instead of on the Muslims themselves and productive development. During my Islamic days, my Mufti {a sort of Islamic Chief Justice} told me, “Allah put Israel among the Islamic countries as a curse to them. Look at the Islamic countries, always fighting among themselves and always being preoccupied fighting among their own to stay in power, and living miserable and corrupt lives.”

There is a twisted sense of logic in Islam. Let me give you an example enshrined in the Hadiths. In Al Bukhari vol. 4:537, Allah’s apostle {Muhammad} said, “If a fly falls in the drink, he should dip it into the drink before drinking it, because one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for that disease.” {There is no evidence, scientific or otherwise, to show the other wing has any cure} Why should a person dip it into the drink to get the disease first and then get the cure? Even a child knows that flies sit on the worst kinds of filth, like the human and animal sewage, dead carcasses, etc. It is well known that the feet of the flies which come in contact with the filth while standing on it, carry viruses of all kinds and this Allah’s apostle want Muslims to dip flies into the drink and drink it? Such is the perverted teachings of Allah’s Apostle. I have been to Somalia, Sudan, Chad, etc. There, you can see people in rags, diseased, filthy, leaking noses, smelly, etc, who are not sure of when and where their next meal will come. Muslim beggars are in every town and village. And do you think, countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc with surplus funds care? Of course, not, because that is not the cause of Allah. But just sound them, that there is a mosque to be built, next to the White House, and see the billions pour from these very countries, who will even fight among them to build it. Thus, the cause of Allah is to propagate {spread} Islam, and ultimately, to achieve their goal of an Islamic world {In other words, to conquer the whole world, by fair or foul means}.

In Islam, humans are mere slaves {human fodder} for the greater cause of Allah and are dispensable as a used tissue paper. Thus, the cause of Allah is not about Muslims or their welfare, but, to conquer the world at the expense of human lives. Islam brought Iran down, in just a generation, from a rich country in 1979 to a pariah status today. Thus, it must be accepted that Muslims generally, will always remain poor, because of Islam. It is not a secret that Iran is spending billions for terrorism all over the world, while their own people suffer and languish in misery {unemployment rate is around 20%}, while the 2003 Bam {Iran} earthquake victims are left to die, even today.

Even though, there is so much of visible evidences all over the world, it is inconceivable for non-Muslims to fathom the Muslim mind-set, but in the context of Islamic nurturing, it is conceivable. It is also inconceivable for non-Muslims, to imagine, oil and gas rich countries, like Iran, Indonesia, etc to have economic pariah status; but in the Islamic context, it is conceivable. Muslims have no freedom in life. They are in an Islamic self-imposed straightjacket life. So, they will forever be in a trap, as prisoners of Islam for the cause of Allah, and their people will forever remain poor and miserable.

Therefore, Islamic Terrorism {being part of the cause of Allah} will always be with us, as long as there is one person around us, believing in this Allah.

Let me leave two questions for you to ponder. 1. As this digital, globalized world progresses in leaps and bounds, and the Islamic countries are left further and further behind, do you think there will be peace in this world?

2. As more and more Maddrassahs/Mosques are built and more and more Islamic clergy pass out. Will there be enough jobs for them? What do you think they will do, if they cannot find a decent job?

Dear Readers, please E-mail this article to as many people as you can. Thank you.
